Scholarship/Grant Program
Ascend Equine Hoofbeats of Hope exists to expand access to equine-assisted programs, education, and therapeutic opportunities for individuals and families who would otherwise face financial barriers. The Organization's scholarship programs directly reflect that mission.

- Low-to-moderate income status
- Medical or therapeutic referral
- Residing in underserved regions
Program Requirements
- Verified financial documentation
- Commitment to program completion
- Legal US residency or status
Eligible Uses of Award Funds
Scholarship funds may be applied toward the following approved uses:
● Tuition or enrollment fees for equine-related educational programs
● Professional certification or licensure fees within equine disciplines
● Therapy participation costs (equine-assisted therapy, hippotherapy, or similar programs)
● Equipment directly related to an approved equine program or activity
● Transportation costs to access qualifying equine programs (where pre-approved)
● Other equine-related expenses as approved by the organization on a per-cycle basis

Eligibility Criteria Overview
Applicants must meet the following baseline criteria to be considered for any award. Additional criteria may be established by the organization.
● Financial Need: Demonstrated financial need, evidenced by submitted supporting documentation
● Equine Program Connection: Active connection to enrollment in, or clear plan to participate in, a certified equine-related program
● Geographic Focus: Within the United States
● Completed and signed IRS Form W-9 from the recipient
● Application Completeness: Submission of a fully complete application by the published deadline.
Direct Vendor Payment: Funds are paid directly to the qualifying institution, program, or vendor (e.g., equine therapy program, educational institution, equipment supplier) on behalf of the recipient.
